arent those lovely??? they were the decos (which consists of all d symbols of x'mas) of a cake... i was reluctant to put them into my mouth becoz they were just too adorable....

hope all of u had a blessed n happy christmas becoz i did.........
i spent it wif my cousin n his frend in d house
i ate turkey for d very 1st time, played games, drank some sweet alcholic beverages n chill (they have everything: pizza, chips, presents, crab salad except d TREE)---- d festive mood in d house was great but out there was superb!!!

finally, happy boxing day!!!!!!!

p/s: i hav lots to update (my students, seiw yee's wedding n my x'mas) but havent receive pix from my peeps so hav to wait....

i hate weekends!!!!
sunday especially...
no food, frend n entertainment...

i'm sick of eating wan tan mee, pan mee, chicken rice, all d fried stuff, ecomonic rice...
erkkkkkkk...........

i dun mind if i hav internet connection, i can sit in front of my lappy whole day long...

i spend one whole sunday in my room upstairs...
feel so left out-my 'family', they have their own plans and as usual i'm not included....
so i'll sms ppl in my phone book on sunday morning, sadly some neva bother to reply, those who replied r not available to entertain dis annoying girl...

sigh, maybe i'm in d wrong field-wheneva i'm free, none of my frends are but when i'm tied down wif papers to mark, dat's d time when i'll b asked to go shopping....
sigh......

how i wish i work somewhere near to my home........
it can b rather pathetic if u r left alone in d house for 2 or 3 long days..
it's my own choice n it makes me wonder : wat's d fun staying in d city??? d oni hang out place is all those huge shopping malls, is dat fun???

other den their birthdate, they hav another similarity: they hav d power to cheer me up........ they r quite similar in d sense dat they r equally cheerful (according to my mom, both of them r happy go lucky n i shud learn from them), genuine & outgoing.........

HoMe-CoMinG

my home-coming wasnt wat i expected....... thought of giving my parents a surprise but turned out d other way round... my uncle aka ta jiu jiu passed away.... i was mad coz my mom didnt inform me earlier, howeva i managed to send him off thurs morning-it was a long hard day....... to b honest, it was my 2nd funeral, d 1st one was my grandpa's way bk in 1999.. i was calm til i get there, flashbacks of my ta jiu jiu (mom's eldest brother) smiling wif his old-fashioned yet adorable glasses, talking to me, giving me ang pow during cny appeared in front of me.... i cant hold my tears.. yes he's old n every human being will leave d world 1 day, maybe my mom's move was right -not to tell me bout it- as i get very upset n distrated wif ppl passing..

after dat, i spent most of my time zzzz -catching all my long lost sleep- hav to admit dat i get tired easily.. a 3 n a half hour journey, catching-up wif yong yong, approx 2km-walked, room-cleaning made me fall flat on my bed..

accompanying my dad to ipoh on d next day to pick my bro up was something i look forward to.. we had a great time counting traffic lights from sitiawan to ipoh... my dad was driving n complaining dat d numbers of traffic light slow him down... indeed n we counted d lights all d way from nan hwa high to ipoh.... there are 21 lights altogether *pengsan*.. i suggested him to write to The Star, gav him d title too "traffic lights build unnecessarily"..

as usual, when in ipoh, it's a must to visit all our 'ka ki lang'... hmmm, my dad respects d elderly very much, oni me complaining-i used to hate visiting my aunties n uncles coz they r old n bored, but i dun feel dat way nemore... i was glad to c them, they hav grown older........ i should visit them more often................

before we get my bro, went for lunch at JJ, n lucky me there was a book fair.... at least my trip to ipoh was not wasted.......... managed to collect all 3 books by albom-thank yong for recommending "tuesdays with morrie": it's inspiring n i hope d other 2 wud b equally great...

the RAs

faeiz, nadia, yen peng & i... we r the RAs of CGR... excellent, dedicated n crazy.... (omg, sound like cheerleading).. we studied in the same school but met in a very b-e-a-utiful hotel which served super yummy food called cyberview lodge... we click immediately during d buffet dinner... hav a good look at our jacon-ness when we saw d food!!!!!


d 3 of them, me snapping pix.. thank god no 1 was there.. so we kinda 'bermaharajarela' at d food corner...


nadia & i, d prawn lover.... we were so happy to c d udangs.. miss d udangs so so much, dont u, nadia????????????

dis 1, raeiz force me to take wif his favourite food: bread butter pudding.... though i was forced to pose with d food but i can still =)

camwhoring in d bedroom.. our 1st pix together.. wat we used to camwhore?? it's not a hp, make a wild guess...

in front of our room (poolside chalet) wif d person who snap everything every minute/second..
and so we bid au revoir n go our own way..................................

i went bk on 25th of oct to visit them...... n d gilaness happened again...

we were walking at our school aka ppbl heading to d car (look how tired n annoyed my face was) when d king of pix-snapping took our photo.. and see wat they did to me.. hanging an umbrella on my beg.. *slap head*

we passed by our lecturer hall, no 1 was there n i suggested dat we took pix of us 4 coz d 1 dat we hav was very dark n blur (blame nadia's acer lappy)...

5 minutes later, we were not satisfied with d proper pix we took n we took a better 1 (c above)..

*tsk tsk tsk* wat if a lecturer entered d hall? wat will happen to us???

went to san francisco pizza for our dinner.. n our camwhoring continues.... faeiz, me n nadia wif our lime juice (extremely sour) n pizza....

yen peng ordered sth else coz she's allergic to most of d ingredients used to make pizza.. but her set looked so yummy dat all of us curi-ed some from her...

end of day 1

on saturday, d 3 of them were invited to a wedding... i on the other hand was now, but like wat they said, i wud b very lonely at home n d host will b more den happy to c d food finish (but how much can i eat-as if i can wallop a whole tray of colourful rice..

n i was not even wearing my baju kurung... just grab 1 from yen peng's housemate, n it fits me perfectly well.... wif d newly wed, apparently i know d bride (know as in saw her before), she was a clerk in ppbl....


outside dewan gemilang - used to come here only for final exam.. now it is a multi-purpose hall..

at night, we went to d famous Haji Samuri Satay wif my bro....... yen peng finds it difficult to say samuri, so she changed it to samsuri, according to her it's easier n simpler to pronounce... d 4 specky (lucky nadia who accidentally left her spec in d car), d 1 wif perfect eye sight took d pix..

basically, i hav all my meals wif them.. not d food i ate dat make me full but after laughing so much i feel very full...

p/s:there u go faeiz, i'm done... ur turn to blog.. make sure urs wud b better...

invigilation can be fun!!
i observed the students & the invivgilators/lecturers..
and i saw :

-several female students (me included) got distracted by a handsome n 'yau yeng' invigilator...
i saw them peeping him n instead of paying full attention in answering the rather tough ques, they asked for rough paper dis n dat...

-students can b clever in picking up d right time to ask for extra paper.. i was just about to take my seat when 2 students raised their hands at the same time.. they too laugh at me...

d moral of d story is:
try to hav fun in wateva u r doing, though my life is not as happening as all d ppl out there but c i can turn d boring-est thing ever into sth fun...

tmr wud b my happiest day after 2 long depressing weeks...
i'll b bk to UKM, my own planet meeting my species instead of stucking at dat idiotic house wif all-chinese/canto speakers who dun watch or understand my language-people..
i'm hating them...
not just normal-hate, but ....

maybe wat yong said it's pretty true, i hav no one to talk to in dat house becoz of communication barrier, i kept everything to myself n *pooof* i explode..

as for my job, my colleagues r a nice bunch of people-i was pretty popular here, i'm d innocent 1 n they alwiz said i make their day.. just yesterday i fall for another trick (picking up a spoiled office-phone at my classroom which is 200m away from d dept, how foolish to fall for it) n d whole office laugh so loudly as if earthquake has just strike....
my students, they r fine, they can b naughty but i've used to it..
it's just d workload dat i cannot cope...

cant wait till tmr...

i was ill, d 1st time after so long dat i cant even remember when was d last time i fall sick..
it happened when i was in d bus-heading to work, n was looking forward becoz my student requested me to go earlier.. after 5 min of bus ride, i started to feel cold yet sweating in d bus, n discomfort in my tummy.. tot of getting down immediatelly coz was afraid dat i was going to throw up.. but i told myself to hold it. n yes, i managed to get to d office.. i was so pale n weak-unable to carry my beg..

i took everyone's advice n went to c a doc.. i got poke!!! just a little at my fingertip coz she suspected dengue-thank god all d mozzies in lumut dat bit me were not aedes mozzies, so i'm safe..

doc said: u r very stressful.. u hav low BP, i need to giv u some medcine to make it go up...
i said: i think so, i have excessive hall fall.... do u hav anything to stop them from dropping coz i'm afraid dat i might go bald..
doc said: *grin* did u take u breakfast dis morning???
i said: no, i rarely take breakfast
doc said: wat time was ur dinner??
i said: 7.30, 8 dunno forgot, can u issue me an mc so dat i'll b excused from my work for 2 days?
doc said: can, no problem.. eat well..
c-ing d doc was scary, d price was equally scary, not forgetting my pills.. isnt dat huge??? i promise myself to not to get burn out again, must love myself more n not to torture myself wif d workload..

i'm a scaredy cat, but d funny thing is horror is one of my favourite film genre..
so far i have spent 30 ringgit or so to watch these typical horror film where a carnivor-cum-man eat human type of movie... but it's d companion which matter most...

dis is my 1st and 1 and only horror film i watched wif alwani...... i can remember vividly how she nearly tear my shirt... i admit i was afraid, but she was 3 times more afraid... i salute falah, she is d bravest one among d lot-neva closed her eyes not even for 1 minute... how i wish i can catch a movie wif them again..

dis is d stupidest movie ever... i was so afraid dat half of me was under d chair.. d english lady who sat beside me laughed at me, and of coz my companions: d 3 siau kias-xia fong, yew thian n nian wei laughed so hard at me... tsk tsk tsk.. men-siasui-kan.. how i wished d film end dat moment but it didnt....

d recent 1, i watched wif my siblings... dis 1 seem very fake n i wasn't dat scare but i was at d beginning... it was a horror film but every1 was laughing, after we stepped out of d cinema also every1 still cant stop laughing....

23rd BurpDay

i hate d month of october, dun like it at all especially 12th october.. every year i didnt get to enjoy, sit back n relax....... 3 years back i was bz doing assignment but now, i still have to deal wif assignment--- grrrrrrrrrr y is my life revovling around assignment!!!
i wonder wat i'll b facing 3 years from now...
it wasnt a happy 1 eventually...
i did NOTHING except marking assignments!!!!!!!!!!!!
n i wasnt doing it alone, i did it wif shi jing-pity her... not only her but thanks to eleen's bf...

wat a pathetic n sad burpday, didnt get to taste a cake at all, oh i did, when yong, teng siu, steven n ah leng made a surprised-way-way earlier 1 (on hari raya-10days earlier) for me at sitiawan secret recipe.. didnt get a chance to thank d 4 of u, wished u guys were here yesterday...

d wishes i received too has decreased but still those sms-es n phone calls put a smile on my face..
especially those based in oversea-very thoughtful of u guys, my dear friends n cousins as well tommy n dawson.......
