And may you always feel loved, protected and cradled in the arms of God Almighty.
Happy birthday!
Beauty of A Woman

Did you know that if shop mannequins were real women they'd be too thin to have babies?
There are 3 billion women who don't look like supermodels and only eight who do.
Marilyn Monroe wore a size 14.
If Barbie was a real woman, she'd have to walk on all fours due to her proportions.
The average woman weighs 144 lbs and wears between a 12-14.
One out of every four college aged women has an eating disorder.
The models in the magazines are airbrushed - not perfect!
A psychological study in 1995 found that three minutes spent looking at a fashion magazine caused 70% of women to feel depressed, guilty, and shameful.
Models twenty years ago weighed 8% less than the average woman.
Today they weigh 23% less.
Today women are lovers, mothers, and career women. Who else is able to balance such a load, and do it with a smile?
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, The place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the care that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman, with passing years - only grows.
Share this page with all the beautiful women you know - a friend, a mother, a lover, someone special.
-grabbed this from Angie's note-
isn't this very well written?
to those who are still living in the 'oh i am so fat world' (including this idiot, the owner of this blog who re-post the note) read the sentence in BOLD...

Happier Moments~
I talked and sms-ed a few friends of mine over the weekend and this morning I woke up telling myself, hey look here I can be happy if I want to, I am the one who choose to be not all along.. and finally I understand the simple fact that I have to move on no matter what, try looking at things from a different perspective-so instead of groaning over others' shit, be glad that people acknowledge me; instead of complaining how much I've helped but receive none when I am in need, just put on my thinking cap and figure things out which will at the end of the day add on to my existing pool of knowledge; instead of mourning over the workload, try sorting things out and know my priority...
enough with the crap, let's look at what I've been up to:
1. the daijiolosophy people came to sitiawan to pay me a visit during Raya break.. (they are my ukm orchestra mate).. we went to marina island, the new tourist spot in sitiawan.. those we ours, mine is the one with the most scars...
we officiated the mid autumn festival by lighting up that 2 words (which to be frank I do not know the meaning or underlying meaning of it til today)
2. Attended FAS Lunch Gathering one fine day. Those are my colleagues. It was early, that's why our table was rather empty.
3. My belated birthday-a quarter of the century old and I did not have any celebration. It was not a memorable one except the greetings I received. Oh ya, the small lil' tiny choco yummy cake was from s.huey > so thoughtful of her and y.yong for my lunch..
We went for a drink before heading to Bangsar to do some shopping... it was (oh gosh, I forgot the name, some cantonese words) selling herbal tea, turtle shell jelly and all sort of herbal tea which eliminate heat from your body.
took advantage of the nice background and these 2 girl friends of mine did old school pose and we were laughing over it...
me again, and it looked mysterious (is that a positive connotation), thanks to the lenses s.huey used..
we had our dinner at a korean restaurant in Ampang.. it was not any other korean restaurant but an authentic one.. before i talk about the food, i like this pix of yong and I max, also the lil' dishes which complement it... double thumbs up..
finally, the food... it was YUMMYLICIOUS!!! FINGER LICKING GOOD!! fyi, those were common korean dishes and i have tried korean food several times but nothing can beat this.. the moral of the story is, do not go for commercialized version of food, tried looking for the authentic one-how? no worry, I have a food critic friend whose taste bud is so sensitive and has high expectation for food, most importantly she's available most of the time to give her critique..p/s: thank u girls for the fun we had last saturday..

Tears, Tears, Go away...
again, i'll be complaining on the amount of work i have in my hands..
again, i am going to ponder upon the path i chose..
i think i've shoo-ed many people away from here, thanks to the never-stop-complaining me..
i'm out of tears, i've been crying a lot, so often til i myself couldn't believe..
i just want a decent life, is that too much to ask for?
i've tried my very best to get my work done, yet it doesn't seem to be up to the expectation, fine, so tell me straight to my face what is right, i don't like hints, i'm very tired of figuring out everything myself, and fyi-there's only 1 head here, other groups are with 2 heads and 1 person doing the writing..
and I will never lend a helping hand to people I'm not so closed with, in fact no more Ms. Good Samaritan-sounds familiar, i repeated this statement for a gazillion times, so when will it turn real, soon I hope, very soon..
Going around solving others' prob & listening to people's prob-those were what I did the whole of last week (aren't that a BIG WASTE OF MY TIME-what has so and so hyperactive child has to do with me, so and so is IT illiterate and I am the one who can cure this) which I was supposed to be doing my writing..
fed up, fed up, FED UP.. am so sick of everything..
why can't I lead a normal life? why must things appear to be so difficult to handle?
why can't everyone just do the portion of work given and make everyone's life happier?
stop bugging me, stop asking me how to do this and that, stop everything!!
we are all the same, a human with a brain, if i am able to figure things out and accept instruction so can u, u and u out there-Are u guys aware that u are DOUBLING up my workload??
p/s: fine, i don't think they'll ever know this, they'll never know how miserable my life has become because of them..

So Far~
despite, i being kinda cranky at times and he preferring to not to talk much, our strong sense of tolerance pulls us through... plus, his surprises which weren't great nor grand but i was happy enough to sometimes laugh at them myself...
when we are alone 300km apart, we talk on the phone like once a day plus a few sms-es > it's like a routine... to be frank, i ran out of words sometimes-we're ntg like those lovey-dovey couples out there, we only go for some meals and movies-and i'm getting quite sick of shopping malls.. he knew it so he alwiz tries to please me by driving us to places other than shopping malls-sigh, poor thing... recently, i've been demanding, asking for dis and dat-wanted to eat choco fondue, dessert and so on...
not only that, i put him in difficult situations too.. when i was upset with work, had blockage in writing or feeling as if the world was against me, i cried so hard he doesn't know how to console me... when he complained, i tended to brush his probs aside or worst i'll ask him why he has never shared something happy happened to him before... i can see that he has changed a lil' where we now talk about happier stuff like his childhood and mine, stupid stuff our friends said and did and so on...
