it's monday..... *yawn* *yawn* *yawn*
who likes Monday, raise your hand (teacher's style)...
getting up at 6am is a torture (as if i'm back to my secondary school days) but i'm usually done wif monday at 11am...
i have been asking myself: wat m i supposed to do from 11am to 4pm??
found the answer, 'i can start marking the students' exercises, else i'll hav 275 copies at the end of the week and my weekend wud be just another working day..
u might ask, how's d adapting going on, are your students bullying u, did u manage to befriend with other lecturers? (all ur questions are answered below, so if u hav other ques, drop it in d comment box)
after 6 weeks, i believe i'm adapting well (no more feeling alienated in d faculty) as i'm happy working wif my colleagues (though sometimes i might b very disturbing-need their assistance, want them to clarify things etc etc).. d senior lecturers are kind enuff to recommend me on where i shud pursue my masters which i appreciated a lot.. d chinese language lecturers are friendly (though i'm not frm chinese language dept, i know most of the lecturers)... d younger 1, i befriended with a number of them during a training so they did drop by my room (fyi, i'll b thrilled if people -doesnt matter if they r students, colleagues, aunty cleaner- swing by)
as for my students, i LIKE them -all 275 of them- though i couldnt match their names n faces except for a few 'outstanding' ones... most of them are pyschology students (can forsee how unique they are), PR students are outspoken (generally, not all but most of them) and finally my biochem, comp science, comp engineering students whom i taught a writing course...
in terms of appearance, my female students-some are sweet (u know d typical fair, skinny, petite and sweet looking girls from d capital of perak), d boys, hmmm some awfully naughty but smart, d others r ordinary except for 1 boy who dyed his hair blonde in d 1st class but turned red last week... i'll get to know them better soon...
i'm enjoying my days in dis small town (no movies, no malls).. surprisingly no homesick as i can survive without talking to my mom for 3 long days perhaps is d family i'm living with (way better den my previous one)..

errr, dis image has ntg to do wif my post *pengsan*... just find it eccentric... by d way, next april/may, neone going for holiday, text me if u plan to so i can arrange my leave-taking and tag along... where to, preferably out of our beloved country yea, provided d country is free frm all the infectious diseases, war & natural disaster..
cheers~
