Some Good Advices to Keep Me Going

the whole 24-hour-on-the-go schedule will begin tomorrow.. the 18hours of teaching, 6hours of attending weekend classes and 5 to 6 hours of travelling, plus the obligatory paper work and homework... i'll start panicking, cursing, complaining, mourning and of coz WORKING my ass off.. the list below is sth i found from a dear frend's (Faeiz, never know you are so thoughtful); these were Faeiz's advices to himself, which I hope can somehow cast a spell on me..

  1. I’ve so many things to be thankful. Don’t ever forget that.

  2. People can be mean. Silence is the best way to retaliate.

  3. Don’t be mad if someone is being unfair. Fairness belongs to God.

  4. Being upset for things which are not yours in the first place or for things that didn’t go your way is called being ungrateful. Refer advise number 1.

  5. People can place their judgment for things they don’t know entirely. If you know what you’re doing and believe in it then stick with it. Refer advise number 3.

  6. Time will heal all wound. Give time, time.

  7. Be happy for others.

  8. If you judge someone for being immature, you are the one who is being immature.

  9. Remember the ‘pointing finger formula’. When you point at someone for something bad, the remaining four fingers will point back at you.

  10. Opposite formula when someone say something good about you. Always think that only one will be positive, the other four will be negative. It’s a way to trick the mind to always remain humble.

ok, by keeping these in mind, i shall kickstart my Jan2011 trimester enthusiastically... keeping my fingers cross, do not want to get heart palpitations half way thru... everything will be fine, how hard can it be handling 84 students at one time-------- damn, speaking of that, i can feel butterflies in my stomach~

wish me luck..

2011~

To lead a healthy lifestyle is my 2011 resolution.. That's it-i made up my mind to not to be greedy..

In order to achieve my resolution, I'll make sure I take my bath early, exercise regularly meaning no skipping yoga classes, no driving around campus but walk from one block to another and sleep earlier..

Plus, I'll divide my time wisely so I'll have time for both my studies and work.. It will be equally hectic though I am assigned to take on one subject but I'm on my own entirely, it may be a lonely journey but as long as I start the tasksssss earlier (as in NOW), there wouldn't be any prob...

woot, I'm positively POSITIVE, OPTIMISTIC too...
yeah, I'll stay this way throughout my 2011..

cheers~
