i'll b leaving uni in less den 1 month -yes, it's gonna b hectic wif exams, f.y.p, & mulling over my future yet dis feeling of hesitant grew stronger..
i wasn't a bright student during my primary & secondary years-did poorly in spm/very average/below par perhaps- but somehow i manage to shine n become d cream of the crop here.. i mite hav make d right choice and i hav no regret doing dis course though many hav mistaken it as TESL which realli annoyed me... needless to say, most of d lecturers i met are supportive and ready to lend a hand anytime/anywhere-couldn't thank them more (words can't describe how thankful i m)-oni in PPBL i think coz i dun feel welcome when i do some other courses.. there were some hardtimes but it all ended up pretty well..
wat adds to my reluctance is after i became part of Centre for Gender Research (CGR)where i worked as a Research Assistant (R.A), thanx to angie and my supervisor who persuaded me to join them.. attended 3 workshops, where i learnt a lot-bout sexism, gender biasness in language, gender neutral, and other catchy topics reagrding gender.. apart from that, i get to enjoy lavish life in prestigous hotels.. d team was and will always b superb under d guidance of the iron lady.. i feel 'small' when i was wif them, somehow inferior, afraid dat i wud fail to comprehend or catch up wif their pace -i m rather slow-, not IT/technology literate.. i wish to b part of CGR in the future as i saw numerous interesting upcoming research -dis is wat i'm yearning for-
my final workshop and d previous ones have left a mark in me..i wud neva wan to forget those experience..
the Sexist team-which is rather 'sexy' wif their signature pose *how adorable*
they work really really hard (which explain d panda eyes they have), thier schedule are very pack wif all sorts of events yet they still manage to produce excellent work.. cracking joke anytime they wan, enjoy their meals, love their research and d list goes on.. though i hav little sleep, my mind did not wander about, i hav 100% concentration during meetings, n am fairly energetic most of d time (dis is an amazement that d team can do to me).. i wud miss them very very much if i happen to leave ukm but will be extremely pleasant if i get to work wif them in d future..
i love u guys very much-BESTEST & COOLEST lecturers i've ever met-
from left to right: Dr.Zarina, Dr.Subakir, Mr.AJ, Dr.CK..
dis is Dr.Bahiyah, d head of CGR, a well-known iron lady... she's strong mentally and physically (i tell u, her bags r really heavy, i need to carry them wif both hands but she can do it wif 1).. a great multi-tasker as well wif good time management (she can really do many works at 1 time).. when i 1st met her, (She was 1 of my lecturer) her loud voice and fierce expression scare me but now when i get to know her my perception has changed-she wasn't dat scary after all, in fact she's a pretty nice lady.. she's my idol-i wan to b as successful as she is in d future, leading & managing numerous researches, a dedicated lecturer & a caring mom...
(p/s: ignore d quality of d photo n me-who looked fairly ugly- as it's taken last minute wif my not-so-canggih hp)
final words, it's time for revison.. final exam is just around d corner, do not procrastinate, utilize time to d fullest and leave d rest to god..
remember it's 99% hardwork and 1% luck..
-dis msg is just a reminder to my coursemates, uni frends, not forgetting my hometown frends whom i loved most, any final undergraduates who happen to come across my entry and me, d procrastinator who like to do things last minute recently-
