AvAtAr

Let me tell u, James Cameron is no ordinary human... he's 1 freaking awesome director ever live on earth (and now he has created a spectacular new world beyond our imagination).. everyone watched titanic 12 years ago, now everyone MUST catch this jaw-dropping fantastic movie of his... the creatures, pandora planet, trees, etc etc seemed so real!

it's so amazing, i wanna blog about it-i've never done any movie review, my 1st time doing it -do not read if u have not watched it-it contains SPOILER as i've added the kan cheong parts (parts which shouldn't be revealed) into d synopsis !!!

Avatar is set during the 22nd century on a planet called Pandora and is inhabited by the tribal Na'vi, 10foot blue humanoids with their own langugage and culture. Humans cannot breathe Pandoran air, thus, a bunch of scientist genetically engineered human/Na'vi hybrids known as Avatar. These avatars are controlled via a mental link. Besides these scientists who studied the Na'vi, there were the antagonists namely Parker & Colonel Quaritch. The greedy corporate figurehead Parker wished to drive the natives of their land in order to mine Pandora's much-desired & precious natural resource while the gung ho Colonel Q headed the military units who constantly attempting to infiltrate the rich land.

A paralyzed Marine named Jake Sully was chosen for this mission since Jake's brother already had an incredibly expensive Avatar grown for him, he's able to connect with it using the same DNA code.

Bearing the responsibility as the middle man to persuade the tribe to move their home before the authority takes more drastic measures to harness the treasure hidden below, he learn and become one with the tribe and begins to understand the secret of Pandora. On a chance meeting after getting separated from his team, Jake's Avatar is rescued by Neytiri, a Na'vi princess, who brings him into her tribe in order to give the humans a second chance at relating to this new environment. As she teaches him their ways and customs such as the bond, hunting & forest connection, they fell in love. His conscience is torn between his new adopted world and the wheelchair-bound one because once he falls asleep, human Jake is revived.

Soon battle lines are drawn and Jake needs to decide which side he will fight on when the time comes. Jake lobbies to return to the Na'vi and negotiate but fail as Neytiri rejects him and the people are preparing to fight against the humans. Back in the reality, they were placed behind the cells for their rebellious behaviour while massive destruction was launched and many Na'vis died. Jake and friends managed to flee the base with the help of Trudy. To be accepted by the people, he needs to be extraordinary, therefore arriving from the sky on the back of a Toruk (the greatest bird), was a license for him to address the chosen people. He declared war and started rallying the Na'vi kind.

Finally, the humans were outcast because Colonel Q was killed in the battle. The humans were shipped back to earth however some get to stay at Pandora. As for Jake, he has chosen to transfer his consciousness to his Avatar self. After a ritual, Jake wakes up in his Avatar with Neytiri at his side.

~The End~

Yeah, it's awesome! I really like some quotes, like:
"Look at their homeland, there's no green!"
"Just because somebody sits on the thing you want, automatically they become your enemy."
Not the exact sentence but kinda like that.

Oh, Not forget the scene where the Toruk smashed some of the planes!

Opss, I talk too much.
