Adventurous trip..

after resting for almost 5 days, wif energetic mind n soul-i'm ready to blog bout my trip to d legendary island.. it's exactly 1 week from d day we pushed off- where i remembered d 4 of us idiotically took bus, ferry and finally car where d time we spent on d road n sea was approx 10hours..

it was a stressful n tiring trip..
stressful becoz i was so bz reading d map, wondering whether we were on d right track, d gas level n d money i have..

was a challenging trip too coz 1 of us drove (no choice, coz teng siu n i dunno how to drive, shi jing dun really know how to drive auto car, so oni nguk fang)
*those who know her, u can imagine how stressful we were during d trip...

make d story short, we managed to make it to d infamous underwater world (disappointed-very little fish-no sharks, no starfish, but there were penguins, n lotsa nemo kinda fish regardless of size)..



den to gallery perdana (a museum to commemorate dr.m, so who likes to go to museums? raise ur hand)



stop by d bird park (just to buy chocolate-which was also d happiest moment in d trip- becoz d entrance fee was beyond our expectation n d tai ka jie insisted dat we shud hold to wat we said in d car-so, no birdy-watching)..
neway,look at d amount of chocolate i bought-heavenly choco!!! but mom gave some to my neighbour n her frends.



next stop, kolam air hangat (deep my feet into water in a pail from d hotspring well hoping it will cure d inflammation around my ankle but it didn't work coz it got itchy when i reached d hotel), people thought it was d heat from d sun which make d water hot but d truth is after i dip my hand into it, d water from d hotspring was hotter...



head to tanjung aru (a beautiful white sandy beach -saw in some brochure- but it was covered wif cow dung when we got there-wat an eyesore)



drove all d way back to d town n went to d landmark where d eagle was, took several pix n ran of due to d unbearable hot weather..



not to mention d food we ate, our 1st dinner after we settled down was horrible n pricey, now wif d rice crisis, they served us wif extremely big plate of rice n as predicted i ate 1/4 n d rest went to d rubish bin-if my mom was there, sure she'll said, u know how many ppl in africa got no food to eat ah! of coz i know but c for urself d rice..



lucky us t meet a uncle when we were asking for direction (ya, we asked for direction most of d time) n he recommended us a stall n dat was d tastiest n reasonable meal i ever had in langkawi -tqvm uncle- at least we got to eat sth we r familiar wif i.e sotong, lai liu ha, choi tam n soup..








d final nite in d hotel-i tried to get myself drunk.. haha, neva got drunk b4 as i cnt stand d bitterness of alcohol but i wan to know wat nonsense i wud b saying if i get drunk.. i did drink (whisky) after mixing wif coke-ntg happen, i was still very much awake.. surprisingly i can stand it.. look, how cute d miniatures were-all of them belong to shi jing..


d trip ended after i spent almost 410 ringgit... realize sth, we didnt visit some very famous tourist spot like mahsuri mausoleum, beras terbakar (burnt rice) n d cable car(was closed for upgrading purposes).. we can't afford to go island hopping, so didnt get to feed d eagle, go snorkelling etc etc.. *sigh* miss out a lot rite..

neway, i'm glad dat we were all safe n sound.. i just got darker!!!
there goes my graduation trip..
