wesak day celebration in sitiawan budhist association was not extraordinary.. it was simple but meaningful one as every1 prayed for the quake victims and of coz all d donation went to them.. sadly, i didn't participate in mantra reciting coz i can oni recite 2 mantras -consider good enuff for a 'banana' as i deliberately memorize them-
buddha bathing corner, i did dis every year-dat's right, i went to temple once a year just to bath the buddha.. wat's d significant of it?? according to my mom, it's to purify our heart.. n there's a need for me to pray -i rarely pray, but when d world is not in a very good condition, i pray..
may buddha bless my family n frends wif good health n happiness..
may all d natural disasters stop occuring...
may d chinese discover more survivors under d rubble..
may the burmese, especially the cyclone victim receive more relief supplies..
No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.
