my lil' new office

utar is a lovely place, big compound, new and clean, not to mentioned air-conditioned (u can even feel d chilliness in the ladies)... u wouldnt feel warm when u r in any of d buildings-currently, there r oni 4.. it's still developing and i believe there will b 10 soon (i'm one of d pioneer it seems).
physically, and material wise i'm more den happy-absolutely satisfy-

unfortunately, utar-ian n kampar-ian are d same.. i fail to make any frend in utar as well.. one, all d lecturers r bz marking n keying marks into d system, me on d other hand newly reported has ntg to do n no1 to talk to.. i was in 'friendless n internetless mode' for 4 days...

now i get wat uncle wong (my dad's bestie) said, "without cantonese, u cannot survive in kampar"... so far, i oni know how to point here n there or ordered wat tan ho (used to b my fav, but kinda sick wif it now) for my dinner.... i'll hav to do something so dat i can blend into dis society else i'll b a lone ranger for 2 long years...

look at my room!!! it's not small, but of coz not as big as ukm lecturer's room.. currently, it's empty n d temperature = frozen food corner in d supermarket (i cant say it's like winter in aust/uk coz i neva experience winter), d worst part is, i cant lowered d temperature (no switch/controller found in my room, which means they standardized it).. some deco or plants may reduce d coldness (i m so gonna shift as many things as possible frm my house to d room)..

owning a room has its pros n cons.. i missed my cubicle in iic where i can chat n laugh with my colleagues.. isolated from d crowd can be good becoz i hav full privacy, bad when i need some1 to cheer me up/talk to..

was looking for sockets up n down in my room (mainly around the wall)-cant find it, wanna give up but spot 2 squares on the floor.. opened it n voila: 2 sockets build IN the floor-my 1st encounter..

dats about it.. my new working place... if any of u happened to drop by utar, pay me a visit.. i'm in d department of modern languages, faculty of arts and social science (Block A)..
