Backdated B'day

I turned a quarter of a century old few weeks back.. every year i blogged on that exact date but due to some unforeseen circumstances, i didn't make it... now, i somehow manage to blog about it.. to be frank, i was extremely upset & tired on the 11th of oct and was emotionally unstable.. so i went to bed as early as 9pm.. i burst out when it was 12 sharp when my housemates were kind enough to buy me a cake and surprise me but i turned out crying non-stop for at least 1h... why? it was my very 1st b'day wif him and he was in KK and i was here doing tonnes of work and when i want their help in return for my assignments, every1 turned me down-i just couldn't take NO for an answer that time.. i've been crying real a lot that week till my voice and the shape of my eyes changed... i hate my birth date, it was and will never b a holiday or a day to celebrate.. i should try to accept this fact, but i just can't till now...

i started to smile again when i received birthday greetings in facebook.. i received over 200 greetings plus a few sms-es and phone calls... all those made my day and i read and replied every single thoughtful msg... my mom saw the greetings coz my bro showed her and she called up and said, u really have a lot a lot a lot of friends ah and they all wished u happy birthday so be happy!

some made me laugh out loud, a few tickled me (those from my naughty yet thoughtful students of mine) and 1 is really x10 very well-written..

the last greeting was superbly impressive right? it was from my uni frend, the 1 who received the uni award with me 2 years ago... he really deserved it, see how good his command of english is... and anytime u pop him any question related to english, be it a word, a theory, or a structure, he'll be able to answer u... even my dad who met him once during the convo still remembered him till today and constantly praising him...
