as usual, i hav to attend 4 hours of class on tuesday.. so d adventure started after 2pm.. as promised, waited for a frend to drive me there... i got a bit panic becoz dat dude was late and we were heading to damansara not kajang or serdang n it was a very unfamiliar place for all of us.. thank god, alwani was there to calm me down...
finally, we were in d car heading to intechlligence but an unfortunate event happened.. d car made some unusual noise and d driver felt sth was not quite right wif d car, when we pull over-guess wat, d engine was smoking!!! i tried to hold my tears, tot of giving up becoz it was almost 3pm and i was suppose to get there at 4pm.. d weather didn't help as well, d super hot temperature made us, me especially boiling!!
so, we called shahrul and our saviour speed from ukm and got there as fast as light..
k, d next concern, how to reach damansara exit?????? dunno wat jalan we took-jalan kuching, jalan duta bla bla bla.. finally we reached damansara but we were actually on d wrong track.. chung wei, my more den 20years fren helped me out-directed us from dunno which part of damansara to d right route..beforehand, he did ask me to write down d route based on his esxperience, sadly we can't even get to d damansara exit.. k la, i admit guys hav better sense of direction... not dat i didnt try to identify d road but there were so many flyovers, dividers, roads' name-how to recognize n remember which is which???
fortunately, i got there 15 mins before 4pm... i was so nervous but try to appear calm & steady... n so i waited for d interviewer... finally, after 40minutes of waiting, d interviewer showed up!!!! it went pretty well, she looked at my results, courses i took and explained wat an educational writer does and d running of d organization.. dat's pretty much about it.. d job sound challenging + interesting but not realli d type i was looking for, more to amirah's dream job...
i was given a task to complete, if they like it i may need to attend another interview (hmmmm, shud i just screw d task?)
it was over, after 40minutes but it feels like 2 hours..
i didnt ask bout d salary, but my escorts did-they asked d receptionist-they were told, freshie will b paid approx 2k or more but think bout it-damansara area, 2k can survive????? i dun think so!!!
wateva it is, i'll just write d story for standard 1 to 3 pupils entitle 'FAMILY'(my task was to teach 10 new vocabs), try to make it sound simple yet creative and write a song for it....
Some cam-whoring!!!!! do u hav any idea where we were??? we were in 1 of d petronas station in kota damansara near farah's house..to my coursemates who had wasted their precious time to accompany me to d interview.. I LOVE U GUYS!!!!! TQ
alwani, d 1 i have spent all d adventurous stuff wif from sleeping in a jungle to stalking a hunk n now, supporting me in my 1st interview... farah, on d other hand who was a kl-ite tried her best to direct us there, not forgetting her mom who had also helped us out..
shahrul, d 24/7 on time driver willingly drive us-his coursemates-... d most reliable chaperon ever in d history-no matter wat, he'll make sure we get to d destination on time n safe!!!!
finally, me-trying to b 'cool', didnt turn out i think....
i'm gonna b smoking, translation assignment due next monday which i think still hanging in d air, dis weekend attending a workshop in cyberjaya wif lecturers and frends (hope it will turn out great)..
lastly, thanx again to all my frends who has helped me out a lot, shahrul, alwani, farah, chung wei, nian wei, yew thian(sorry to make u skipped class, i don't mean it) and d supportive bunch in ukm.. u guys were my strength n soul.. i feel blessed as alwizzz... muaakssss, love u guys a lot......
